Registration and Travel Form

The Aboriginal Languages Trust are excited to invite you to be a part of a Language Centres and Hubs Network Day on Tuesday 29th October 2024 on beautiful Gumbaynggirr Country, Opal Cove Resort, Coffs Harbour.

The purpose of the network day is to connect with other NSW Aboriginal Language Centres and Hubs to yarn, share stories and ideas, discuss common barriers, challenges and solutions. We are also looking forward to hearing your ideas and to discuss the creation of a formal network of NSW Aboriginal Language Centres. We hope you can make it!

The Trust will pay for travel and accommodation for the nights of Monday 28th and Tuesday 29th October, and expenses for three people from your Centre or Hub to attend. 

Registrations close Tuesday 8^th October 2024.

Dates

Monday 28th October 2024: Arrival and check in after 2pm.

• The Trust will be hosting a barbeque dinner on Monday 28th October on site at Opal Cove Resort with the opportunity to yarn and enjoy a relaxing evening before the network day. Commencing at 6:30pm.

Tuesday 29 October 2024: NSW Aboriginal Language Centres and Hubs Network Day.

• Time: 8:30am arrival for a 9am start. Ending at approximately 5pm.
• Location: Opal Cove Resort, Coffs Harbour
• On Tuesday 29th October, the Trust will host an informal network dinner.
• More details to come.

Wednesday 30th October 2024: Check out and depart Gumbaynggirr Country.

Travel and accommodation

• Attendees can register for the event via the online registration form before Tuesday 8^th October.
• Travel and accommodation at Opal Cove Resort will be provided and booked by the Trust. You will receive an email after completing the registration form to confirm your registration.
• If you are flying, you will receive an itinerary by email once your flights have been booked. Please check your itinerary to make sure the details are correct.
• Please let us know ASAP should you need to make changes to your flight or accommodation booking.
• Please ensure you provide your name as it appears on your license or ID.
