Join us in collaboration with Museums of History NSW for an evening of conversation, connection and celebration as we explore the theme Let our Voices Fly, a call to honour Aboriginal Languages, support their revitalisation and imagine bold futures where Language is strong and soaring.  

This event is part of the lead-up to NSW Aboriginal Languages Week 2025 held from 19 - 26 October and offers a unique opportunity to hear from Community Language practitioners and influential Aboriginal community leaders about the importance of Language revitalisation.

Panel discussion focus 

The event brings together Community Language practitioners, the NSW Aboriginal Languages Week 2025 Ambassadors, and archivists to share their powerful stories of collaboration and innovation in Language revitalisation. 

The panel will also highlight the Access to Archives project, a collaboration between the Aboriginal Languages Trust and Museums of History that uncovers Language records and archives within the State Archives Collection and reconnects them to the Communities they belong to.

This panel will feature the NSW Aboriginal Languages Week Ambassadors, Aboriginal Language practitioners, and archive experts, facilitated by the Aboriginal Languages Trust.
